Alone and bitter in his cabin, he continues to work on his writing when a stranger named John Shooter shows up on his doorstep, claiming Rainey stole his story. Secret Window stars Johnny Depp as Mort Rainey, a writer living in upstate New York. Mort's literary agent has sent a copy of the magazine with his story. Ichabod Crane is sent to Sleepy Hollow to investigate the decapitations of three people, with the culprit being the legendary apparition, The Headless Horseman.
