I wish I was there to actually see the people and the places. His family soon returned to Ecuador and he grew up with those Indians, seeing them come to Christ, becoming like his own family. Instead we gossip about I gave this five stars not for it's beautifully written epigraphs, pacing of plot points, or writing style, because honestly it has none of these things. And it is mind blowing!!!!
This book is inspiring on many levels. I feel like this book was a peek into a world that most of us will never really experience, yet there is so much to gain from the experiences of others if we are eager to really listen. I loved Mr. Saint's writing even as it twists through flashbacks and side stories; it was a page turner for me.

A fabulous read full of compassion, adventure, and some brutal realities. Welcome back. He ends up having a love for these people anyway.
