I rented this film without ever hearing of it before, and was pleasantly surprised...something which is becoming more and more rare in my movie renting experience. The fictional story focuses on a bounty hunt for a Union soldier by a Confederate colonel following the American Civil War in the late 1860s.

But I did miss the shootouts! If you enjoy intense, beautiful westerns and the work of these two genre titans, definitely check this out.
The first 30 minutes will make your hair stand up and the rest will keep you going - definitely a must see. Wherever he goes, Carver follows in his footsteps.
