La colonna sonora è di quelle che ti rimangono in testa per molto tempo e contribuisce a farti calare ancor di più in un clima burrascoso quanto terribile come quello della guerra. buon film, ma nn un capolavoro, secondo me è un po sopravvalutavoEd ecco un altro film sul Vietnam, altra angolazione, altra visuale.Basato sull'esperienza vietnamita del regista Oliver Stone,Platoon non possiede ne la profondita'intelletuale di Full Metal Jacket,ne l'eleganza visionaria di Apocalypse Now,ma e'un film diretto ed immediato con approccio viscerale alla violenza.Stone mette in scena dei soldati semplici catapultati dal benessere delle loro citta'alla realta'della sporca guerra,immergendo la storia tra scoppi di improvvisa violenza sulla popolazione locale,stupri e massacri:l'inferno asiatico e'descritto alla perfezione con gran cura per ogni minimo dettaglio,le scene di guerra rendono perfettamente l'idea dell'orrore,della confusione e del caos vissuto da tutti i protagonisti,con massimo realismo dalla prima all'ultima scena.film assolutamente sopravvalutato e troppo gonfio di retorica.Stone narra la storia di Crhis (Charlie Sheen) che partito volontario per la terribile guerra del Vietnam si ritrova l'anima combattuta tra due diverse mentalità, tra due diversi modi di sopravvivere all'abbruttimento che l'evento bellico provoca, quello piu' razionale del tenente Elias (Dafoe) e quello spietato e guerriero del tenente Barnes (Berenger).
