The Scream Team 2002 movie dvd. Though there are ghosts in it, many are friendly. I think it is hilarious and entertaining and a perfect movie to watch during Halloween time. Only one man keeps the scales of justice even; cowboy detective Lieutenant Jangles.

The cast and crew did a wonderful job the pace was fast but you were still able to follow along. Not sure why they changed the title to Scream Team, but regardless it's a fun, atmospheric little Halloween movie. Teenaged Kat Dennigs, Kathy Najimy, Eric Idle and Tommy Davidson star, and they actually look like they are having fun with the storyline. As the small town prepares for its Halloween Festival, marking the legend of Zachariah Kull, Ian and Claire are startled to discover that ghosts really do exist! Glad I could finally get my hands on the dvd version!

IMDB states that it was a pilot for a possible series called The Soul Patrol, but that obviously didn't happen.
Some parts of the movie lack depth/accuracy, like sucking up ghosts with vacuums, and a 200 year old crater from a gas explosion that didn't erode or become over grown with weeds - but what do you expect from a made for tv Disney movie.

I just re-watched this as an adult and it is still equally as funny, and it's not super corny. I thoroughly enjoyed the comedy and terrible story line because of the wonderful memories it invoked from my past Halloween stories as a kid. Fantastic movie for Halloween.
