Hardly anything happens throughout the whole movie so you don't have to follow it too closely - a good thing for horny teenagers on a Friday night.

May 1, 2019 Before being picked up by New World and given a wide release as 'Mountaintop Motel Massacre' on March 14, 1986, it had limited releases as 'Mountaintop Motel' on July 15, 1983 and 'Horrors at Mountaintop Motel' on Dec. 14, 1984.

Overall I didn't like this movie, it's too boring. Sidney Poitier’s 7 Most Memorable Performances Mountaintop Motel Massacre is basically a 1980's rip off of Psycho. Mountaintop Motel Massacre has a relatively low body count, and relies on steady pacing to create its horror. Considering how low the ratings were for this film, I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed this film. The deaths are really lame too.

When this isn't enough, she decides to up the terror factor by using her sickle, exterminating the guests instead of the bugs and rats. The alternate ending shows the sheriff killing Evelyn with a single gun shot, this can be seen on the dutch VHS version from the label RCV 2001.

There isn't all that much for the gorehounds or anyone else, really.
